Hello everyone! I'm in the second year of my Master's program at Pitt In addition to interning here a Carngie Mellon, I am an Assistant Hall director at the University of Pittsburgh. I will be finishing up the coursework for the program this fall, so that will leave me the spring to work here at the CPDC, at Pitt, to write my thesis, and to work on my own career developement job searching. I went straight to graduate school from ungrad, and while I love learning, I'm excited to get out into the field of higher education and get my hands dirty 24/7!
I grew up in a small town about an hour and a half away from Pittsburgh, but considering how rural the area around us was, I've considered myself a Pittsburgh girl all my life. Along with this comes cheering for the Steelers, the Pirates and the Pens, as any good Pittsburgher does.
In what free time I do have outside of work and school, I enjoy reading, keeping up with my Netflix queue and spending time with a great group of friends. I'm lucky to have a large group of my friends from college living in the city and the surrounding areas, so I enjoy spending time with them on the weekends, going out to eat and taking in the city life.
